Industrial Engineer focused on construction. More than 10 years managing and controlling infrastructure, energy and electrical network projects in Colombia.
I live and work in Tuluá, Valle del Cauca. My career has been about one thing: making sure projects are built as contracted — the right work, at the right cost, on the right schedule and to the technical standard.
I now apply this to foreign buyers, who often pay in cash and have no independent technical check on their property. I work with a trusted network of allied architects, real estate attorneys and insurance brokers, so you have one point of contact. My English is at a technical level (B1), so I keep my communication clear and direct.

My client is the owner. I do not work for the builder, the developer or the seller.
Based on evidence.
Photos, video, measurements and written notes, so that every observation can be checked.
Based on codes.
I check the work against the Colombian codes that apply: NSR-10, RAS, RETIE and NTC 2050, RETILAP, NTC 1500 and the conditions of the permit.

Regular reports in plain language, with the budget in COP, USD and EUR.

Why Independent Oversight Matters
The check a bank would do is missing.
Most foreign buyers in Colombia pay in cash because they rarely qualify for a local mortgage. A bank that finances a purchase also checks it technically. Without a mortgage, nobody does.
Between January 2024 and October 2025, the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC) received 2,818 complaints and 3,255 consumer lawsuits regarding housing projects, with 38 developers sanctioned for over COP $5.77 billion in administrative penalties. sic.gov.co
This is not a case against builders or developers. It is a case for having one professional whose only client is the owner.
